Well, I've just watched the first 20 minutes of Raw, and I can say I've never been so embarrassed to be a wrestling fan, much less a heavy metal fan. The whole segment made a mockery of the staged nature of wrestling, and only served to make Ozzy and Sharon appear more fucking stupid than everyone already knows they are. Seriously, I nearly chucked the remote through the TV after Sharon said "really?" for the seventh time. I really hate that bitch for several reasons, not least of all the way she has turned her husband into a media whore. This whole Special Guest Presenter gimmick is getting really old really fast now. After the ZZ Top debacle when all they did was stand there like pricks twirling their guitars and miming to their own songs, I had hoped Vince would see what a desperately sad idea this is, and rather than propelling his product into the mainstream, has instead made his existing fanbase, namely us, question whether he actually means to include us in his future plans. Monday Night Raw to me now is little more than a farce, perfectly illustrated by the completely unprofessional scenes in the ring at the start of tonight's show. Get fucking rid of the guest presenters, and sharpish, or I for one will be tuning fucking OUT sharpish. Pretty sure I'm not alone in my disdain for this ever-decreasing-in-quality charade of a show.

For Christ's sake, it's getting WORSE! There's a bleeding X Factor-lite talent contest on now. I now want to die. Oh, and to cap it off, Ricky Hatton just got named as guest host for next week's show in my hometown of Sheffield. Why? He's a Manc... And a shit one at that. I've half a mind to go down and fling handfuls of shit at the arena.

Ricky Hatton will be awesome and will probably knock Chavo or The Miz out which will be fun.
The guest hosts thing isn't great, but does do good ratings, gets publicity and while some of the guests have been shit, others have been quite good- Freddie Prize, Bob Barker etc. It does get me more excited about Raw than I have been for he rest of this year- Raw being the worst wrestling show on TV.
I did enjoy the DX/Cena skit and the main event was great with Jerrishow taking out Cena AND Shawn AND HHH! Speaking of last week's Raw the Big Show vs HHH match was brilliant. I haven't been entertained more by a Raw main event all year and it was great seeing the whole roster, bar Santino lol, get revenge on Show and the crowd went ape shit for it.
Also Kofi Kingston's promo on top of Randy's car was superb. Raw is AT LAST starting to push some of the great up and comers like Kofi, Miz and Swagger. Also I am sure you loved Sheamus destroying Noble, Metal? Kinda like an early Sid Vicious match.

Yes you're right of course, about me marking for Shamus's squashing of Noble. Even more so this week, when I actually thought Jamie was seriously injured after that powerbomb. The actual wrestling on Raw and some of the angles, I don't have a problem with. As you say, how could you not smile as Kofi smashed up Randy's new stock car? It's the celebrity guests I take issue with. I actually could not have enjoyed Bob Barker or Freddy Prinze Jr any less, and thought they brought the quality of the show down immeasurably, ratings or not. The wrestlers who have appeared as guest hosts at least appear to have a fucking clue what's going on. I'd actually like to see more of that please. At least I won't feel like I'm the butt of some vast media joke.

Well Freddie Prince must at least know a bit about wrestling as he was booking the company for a bit lol.

I was watching the show again last night as I was bored and the segment where it's "Raw's got talent" you can clearly see Ozzy say "who the fuck is he?" to Sharon when Khali came out. I kept rewinding it on Sky+ as I laughed so hard. They must've noticed it too, it the ol' WWE production truck as they pulled away to the crowd.
Still, the show was pretty shit. I'm getting bored of the Guest Host crap. It ran its course a while back and its just getting more and more embarrassing every week.

Come on how can you hate a show which gives you one of the funniest moments in recent memory?
Hilarious! Chris has made me a fan.
