So Breaking Point has come and gone and what did you think of it? I am mainly addressing this to Metal as I think he's the only other one that would have watched it.
Btw only 3 matches were of the submission/I quit variety.
The Miz vs Kofi
The Miz doing his "I'm the Miz and I'm awesome!" in French was fantastic. The match wasn't that good however at first, but towards the end things suddenly became great.
MVP & Henry vs Show & Y2J
They should really mix up Montel's and Henry's music. "Somebody gonna get their ass kicked - I'm coming! - Somebody gonna get their ass kicked - I'm coming!" Anyway this was alright again. It did drag but the ending minutes were great and Henry looked great, until the ending when he layed down for ages after Show' punch before Y2J bothered to pin him.
The Legacy vs DX
Cody and Ted are sooooo gay. The way they keep checking up on one another rather than stay on the offensive is hilarious, as was Ted constantly falling over the ice - he fell out of the camera shot at one point. That said this was very good and the Legacy won and they won clean making Shawn tap.
Also this PPV was in Montreal and DX were greeted with "You screwed Bret chants!" YES! Then HHH took to the microphone....
"I know some of you are still angry at an incident that happened here many years ago and I just want to say..........
...... that it was all Shawn's fault!" LMAAAAAAAAO! That has to be wrestling line of the year ahead of 'The Charismatic Enabler'!
Kane vs Khali
No more! The only thing nastier than the match were those kendo stick shots! Ouch.
Christian vs Regal
I liked this. Five minutes more and it would have been awesome. Regal busted out so many crazy moves here- that running forwards roll senton was sooo unexpected and his Regal Plex looked deadly! That's one of the sickest moves ever.
Orton vs Cena
This was MOTN for me. Orton was amazing as the sick bastard (more kendo shots! OUUUUCH!) and Cena was good as, Superman yet again.... I loved the handcuffs, the fighting over the key and the fact they played into the finish. BUT........ Orton quit like a little girl again.... I would have done the cliched ending with Cena passing out myself.
Punk vs Taker
So Punk also taps out like a little girl in about 5 minutes and looks like a fucking bitch. I was sooooo angry and was vowing never to watch the WWE again.
Thank god for Teddy Long! Long reminded Taker that Vickie Guerrero banned Taker's Demon's Gate submission many months ago (wow someone on the SD writing team has a good memory! Though why did nobody think to remind Taker of this during the 'Demon's Gate vs Anaconda Vice' video packages?).

So the match is restarted and Punk locks in the Anaconda Vice and........... Taker taps? The referee bolts from the ring and omg- The Montreal Screw Job! In Montreal!! The WWE will NOT stop bringing that up will they? Even Bret doesn't mention it anymore. Get over it WWE!
Anyway I LOVED the ending. My mate called it before the PPV started, but thought it would happen in the HBK match (btw anybody else think Shawn was going to lock in a Sharpshooter before he did his modified figure four? The fans certainly did!).
I kept winding my mate Rachel up by claiming that Taker definitely tapped (she's a Taker mark) and then simply 'Taker screwed Taker!'
So the PPV was good. Nothing as horrible- Kane and Khali being saved by those wicked shots- while the two Raw main events were great! Yes you read that right! For once the Raw matches weren't dragging the PPV down and were actually the stand-out matches! Canada really is bizaro world.
