So Italy have trimmed their players to 28 and Gross is not included!!!! WTF?! The man who scored that goal against Germany and then the winning penalty against France. This is a huge.
Elsewhere Germany captain Ballack will not play after his injury in the world cup final and Ghana's Michael Essiem will find out shortly if he can go.

Gutted about Ballack. Not only a Germany legend, but a Chelsea one also. Germany will still win though.

England were lucky Rob Green was on form last night, or that first half would have been embarassing. A better team than Mexico would have scattered the defence like dust in the wind, and put a hatful past David James. There were gaps everywhere. And why did the Chelsea players not play? Some warm up.
Come on Germany.

To be fair the Czechs, while they aren't the same world beaters they were 6 or 4 years ago, are still one of the best countries around.
I'd be more worried if I was supporting Cameroon after their 0-0 draw with Georgia.

More results from friendlies.
Argentina 5 - 0 Canada
Maybe they peaked at just the right time?
Portugal 0 - 0 Cape Verde
Wtf? LMAO!
Australia 2 - 1 New Zealand Japan 0 - 2 South Korea
Australia and South Korea continue to be the best Asian teams.
Georgia 0 - 0 Cameroon
Well, that's embarrassing...
Nigeria 0 - 0 Saudi Arabia
Greece 2 - 2 North Korea
Maybe North Korea won't get as badly destroyed as we previously thought?
Ireland 2 - 1 Paraguay
I still fancy Paraguay to perhaps make the quarters, but Ireland are showing that they really should be here...
France are currently 0-0 with Costa Rica, while at half time the score elsewere is Holland 2 - 0 Mexico thanks to two Van Persie strikes.

How our you guy’s tv schedules going to be like for the world cup? Ours are going to be on three channels and looking at the tv schedule EVERY game will be televised. That's a bit insane. Some 64 matches in total lol.
Well, I'm going to try and watch as much as possible lol.

Every single game will be shown here on either BBC1 or ITV1. The final will be on both channels. The two most watched channells.
The 3rd group games will be shown at the same time. So USA vs. Algeria will be at the same time as England vs. Slovenia so as to avoid the Germany vs. Austria game where Germany scored in the first 10 minutes and both knew that if the game finished 1-0 both would advance to the 2nd round so they passed the ball to eachother for 80 minutes.
Not sure what channels they will be on. I'm guessing one will be on BBC 1 and the other on BBC 4 or something and ITV games will be split between ITV 1 and ITV 2.
I am going to watch every game I am not working during.... and even then I'll try and watch online.
In world cup news Ghana may be fancied to do very well, but they are now without their best player Michael Essisen who has not recovered from his injury in time. Elsewhere with Ballack out, Phillip Lahm will get the Germany captain spot.
In friendlies South Africa beat Columbia. Columbia are an alright side, better than South Africa at least, so this was a really good result. Maybe they can get something against Diego Forlan's Uruguay.
Also in friendlies the Irish continuted their great run of games by beating Algeria 3-0, which makes me feel slightly more confident in our match against the Desert Foxes. Crotia too look very good and it proves my point that there need to be more European teams in the World Cup....

Also the good thing is the time zone. South Africa is in the same time zone as Western Europe, so only one hour ahead of GMT.
