Okay, let's say that you don't totally hate women's wrestling. Are you looking forward to seeing who are the most athletic divas in this most recent diva search. Obviously, we're going to have to get past the dumb sh!t like seeing who licks pie the sexiest. But as I'm learning to like Candice Michelle's athleticism a little more, and as I'm learning to like Krystal both as an athlete and as an "actress", and as I came to like Christy Hemme before she was released, I've come to appreciate the end results of the Diva Search. Who's with me?

Not me, it's wasted TV time on an already dire show. Although I'm hoping they don't show it on ECW, it's the only refuge I got from it as it stands.

Well, I don't want to see the actual search-ness of it. Although the casual fan seems to like it as the ratings always increase (probably 'cause they do dumb stunts). But surely you like the end result, right? The beauties in the ring?

Nope, womens wrestling isn't any good in WWE, I'd rathe watch the shimmer promotion if I wanted decent womens wrestling.
The only good thing to ever come out of the diva search was Maria. She's hot.

I gotta say I agree 100% with Knoxville. I think women's wrestling over the years has cheapened the product a great deal. They should stick to what they are good at, and that's speaking. Woman have traditionally made excellent managers, or valets to many great heels of the industry. Heels whose vocal skills have lacked what it takes to be convincing when not in the ring, hence their need for a mouthpiece to get them over.
That's why I fail to see the logic in splitting up Nitro and Melina. He is poor on the mike, whereas she is an excellent speaker. The ideal combination. The sooner factions and managers come back on a large scale, the better for WWE as far as I can see. That's where I feel a woman's role in wrestling is the most effective. Best to leave the action to those who can at least make it look semi-convincing.

I like the idea of having actresses as managers because guys like Lashley could use speakers and supposedly these women as actresses and models are good on the mic. But in reality many of them aren't. Nonetheless, getting Divas who are good on the mic to give guys like Lashley a mouthpiece is a good idea.
But this weekend, as I'm dreading the return of the DS, I found myself recalling that Trish Stratus came in as just T&A and ended as one of the most respected female talents around. Now, I have not seen a Shimmer Production, so maybe I like Trish so much because I don't have much to compare her to, but if Candice Michelle or Maria could get to Trish Stratus talent, would that make the Diva Search worth it?

It would, but Candice is the only person from the Diva Search who has the heart to actually do something for the buisness, she's put in alot of time to get trained as a wrestler and has been rewarded with the womens championship. It's the only decent thing the Womens division has done in ages in the WWE.
As Metal said, Diva's should be managers if they wish to actually contribute to the buisness. Lashely does need a decent mouthpiece but I can't think of many WWE diva's that are good enough on the mic to do so, only Melina comes to mind.
But if the Diva search was to bring in talent that was in the same caliber as Trish then it would be a good thing but all it does in bring it air headed bimbos.

I also don't like the Diva Searches. The WWE's best female wrestlers in recent years- Trish, Lita, Molly, Gail Kim, Melina and Mickie James didn't come from them and all the Searches do is push the good female talent back down the pecking order in favour of the newer females who can't wrestler at all at the moment.
