How are you?

Its been a while since I last spoke to you and I thought it was high time I showed my face. Things are quite manic around here, finally getting some sleep (!) but the days are a constant round of "mummy mummy mummy!". Seriously, the way for a mother to get her kids attention? Sit down and look comfortable...

Im back to Uni in September, and I can't wait. I love my children, but I am not stay at home mummy material.

Right, some upheaval in my life.
Been offline now for over a month due to a Dr. Pepper-covered motherboard. But I have a new PC now and all seems well.
I've been making a few posts on here with my mobile phone but it's a pain in the balls to be honest.
Also, I started a new job three weeks back, doing something totally different to forklift driving. Basically I sit on my arse all day talking on the phone. Money is shit but it's easy work and the people there are great.
I'm going to a new martial arts class tomorrow called KYUSHO-JITSU, which is in simple terms the art of curing or causing pain with the use of pressure points on the body. It sounds really interesting so I'll let you know how it went.

Hey Kel,

As you know, I graduated university. Thank ye for the kind words. The whole debacle is a big weight off my shoulders. I've been working hard this year and saving where I can. Where I had intended to visit Europe earlier this year, it became apparent that my plan was growing wildly expensive. Hence, I reconsidered my options and now I intend to be headed through SouthEast Asia from the 1st of November. Bought my tickets yesterday! Will be backpacking for some 6 to 8 months. I'll probably send out a quasi regular email detailing my adventures to those who are interested, so let me know if you want to be on that rather exclusive list!

I will be coming to Europe sometime in the future, so that is still on the cards. Just on the backburner.

Until then I'm looking at embarking on postgraduate study (possibly online -- to provide freedom for future travel) to steer myself toward a journalist/communications style career. Turning 25 in 9 days, so yeah... big words like career are slowly slipping into my vernacular.

Beyond that life is great... I've not been this fit and healthy ever and I have never had such firm direction.

Sounds awesome Oh and the "career" thing, its just a symptom of the inevitable march to 30
