wtf, I am sure I made a thread about this PPV....
Anyway I got to watch it at last, last night and it was strange.....
Love vs Tara was alright. Glad the belt is on Love again, but it looked like referee Slick was on the take as VicTARAria's foot was on the rope. Also we got the feeling Tara's actions after were rather heelish. Of course then it turned out that Slick really WAS on the take after seeing him exit a shower followed by Madison...
Morgan vs Danels was probably MOTN. Some may moan about Morgan going over clean, but it was perfect booking. I said to my mate I hope Daniels' leg gives way on him while he does the BME and he loses as a result. Good booked match, Morgan goes over and it doesn't hurt Christopher as he was injured going into it.
Stevie vs Abyss was odd..... well all thought Abyss would win the match, but then right before Stevie said he would win the "mind war" over Abyss. What that means is anybodies guess as he got RAPED. He didn't do a single move which means this feud surely has to end now right?
Where does Richards go from here though? I'm hoping a feud with Tara. Tara vs Daffney = awesome.
Team 3D vs The Invasion was fun. Putting the NJPW titles on the line made the winner obvious however. The Invasion need a win sometime...
Jenna vs Sharmell was the biggest pile of steaming shit I have seen since Tomko vs Stevie Richards in drag....
AJ vs Nash wasn't bad. But the ending as odd. AJ has to leap over a ref (wtf was he doing?) and gets pinned by a fucking chokeslam!? I knew Nash would win and I don't mind him as Legends Champ, but a chokeslam?!
Beer Money vs Booker & Stiener was another match KILLED by the finish. Storm spits beer into Steiner's face and this SOMEHOW makes Earl Hebner go blind, despite the fact he was LOOKING IN THE OTHER DIRECTION! Then Earl stumbles outside the ring, with Storm and slides in to make the three count while James does FUCK ALL! Ugh.
Sting vs Joe was another match with an awful end.Sting locks in the sharpshooter, but lets go because of Tazz walking to the ring.... Then Joe botches a Muscle Buster so makes Sting tap with his finisher. Somehow Tazz's words made Joe win, even though I didn't see his mouth move once.
Foley vs Angle was..... you guessed it a bad ending. After about 6 minutes Foley taps to the ankle lock. FOLEY TAPS! Foley should NEVER tap! Double ugh.
Worst PPV in a while, all the refs were god awful was were the endings to every match. Tara/Love, 3D/Invasion, Morgan/Daniels and Abyss/Richards were the only ones I remotely enjoyed.
