So who is your favourite Canadian wrestler? Here are my top 10, excluding any brain damaged murderers. 10) Santino Marella Yep, like Rowdy Roddy Piper Santino is actually Canadian! And sooooo funny..... in fact why are all Canadian wrestlers so damn funny? 9) Lance Storm Okay Lance is one of the exceptions to the funny rule, but he's a great wrestler. 8) Team Canada Williams, Roode and Eric Young are all outstanding and I loved this stable so much back in the day. Young was a hoot when he started doing his whole paranoid gimmick. Let's forget about A1.... 7) Trish Stratus The best Diva ever in the WWE! Trish was a very good wrestler and outstanding on the mic. I miss her 6) Edge He may be feces, but I like him. 5) The Canadian Ninjas They may look harmless but beware of the Ninjas and their deadly Ninja Cookies! Sooooo funny and amazing at getting heat. 4) Bret Hart The best there is etc.... 3) Owen Hart One of my favourite ever. 2) Christian My love for Christian actually went up when he joined TNA. He was fantastic there and hopefully can be a main eventer in the WWE too. 1) Y2J The best in the world right now! I am reading his book at the moment and it's great. Hope he writes a new one soon.

My favourite ever Canadian wrestler is from Calgary, Alberta Canada, as he always stressed before a match. But no, it's not a Hart, but Lance Storm. Although I always refer to him as Larnce now, thanks to William Regal. In ECW he was a technical maestro, and he looks like Henry Rollins, so you HAVE to like him, or else. He would have made a fucking brilliant terminator.
My favourite current Canuck wrestler is Triple H. I'm such a mark for him now he's a babyface. He doesn't seem as Smeagol-like as he once was when he was consumed with the power of the title.
The Canadian star of the future, I predict will be Robert Roode. He has the charisma and in-ring ability and ambition to rise to the top and be a solid, worthy world champion, whether it is in TNA, which I doubt, or WWE which I think will be very likely in the next few years as he matures as a wrestler.
When you consider Canada's history of great wrestlers, I reckon Canadia is on par with Japan as the greatest wrestling nation in the world.

See I have never really been a big fan of Roode. I love him in Beer Money but as a solo star he never really stood out to me at all. Part of that had to do with his never-ending feud with Eric Young.
HHH is just as smeagol ish as ever! He burrrried the Legacy so many times this year.

4. Lance Storm - I don't know why but I've always liked the single leg crab and the promo where he read off the cue card during his "boring" phase in WWE is one of my favorites of all time.
3. Edge - I'm a big E&C fan and an even bigger weak spear fan.
2. Chris Jericho - Honestly, he's been the only thing I've been watching WWE for since his return. His longstanding feud with Benoit over the IC title will always be a favorite of mine and his tag team partnership with Christian was a dream pairing. He's not only my second favorite Canadian wrestler, but my second favorite wrestler ever. And that leads us to...
1. Christian (Christian! At last you're on your own!) - Surprise. Funny how all of the other Canadians on the list tagged with him too. (Edit: Actually, now the only potential pair on the list not to have won some form of tag team titles together is Edge & Storm.)
Normally my favorite wrestlers are who I find funny and Christian fits the bill. But strangely enough, I originally took a liking to him as 'silent Christian' in the Brood when I thought frilly white pirate shirts and vampires were cool (oh wait, they still are - vampires, that is). Who knew this guy would go on to be one of the WWF's best talkers? I just wish he'd turn heel again, because that is when he's truly at his best.
