It seems like we have A Miz fan in our midst, who claims everyone but us loves The Miz.
Discuss whether this man is indeed the saviour of wrestling, or an individual who is unworthy of such adulation.

I think he is piece of shit personally, but somebody's bound to disagree.

The Miz is a great worker.



Yes he's in there with Punk and Morrison, but more than held his own and sold the GTS very well.

Also check out any of his tag matches against the Colons from thus year and you can see that he is a great wrestler. Heck watch ANY of his tag matches to see that.

And if you can track down his singles match with Primo on ECW you will see that he can have a great match without Morrison as his partner.


I don't get why there is all this hate about such a great wrestler.... I mean I get that he plays an annoying, arrogant, obnoxious jerk, but that's his character. And yes he does have an Orton like punchable face, but he can't help that.



He's also hilarious as anybody who has ever watched The Dirt Sheet can testify too. Also on an unrelated note why the fuck do people say Morrison can't cut a promo? Are they insane!?

Quite clearly, The Miz sucks. So much so that when he comes on Raw, I press pause on the live feed on Sky+ for about 5 minutes as it means I can skip the crap. It's been win-win since he was drafted though as it means I miss alot of Cena stuff too.

Well, I've always been a fan of John Hennigan since Tough Enough. He always seemed tremendously athletic and I really enjoyed his MNM gimmick, when it became immediately clear that Nitro was the HBK of the tag team. So when WWE paired him with the Miz, I thought, "Okay, the Miz is clearly the (less talented, less charismatic, less hair metal) Marty Jannetty of this tag team." It was blatantly clear that the Miz was Morrison's obnoxious, mildly retarded ape of a sidekick. I was almost certain Morrison would eventually toss him through a plate glass window and we would be rid of him.

I just don't find him entertaining or memorable. I could walk into a bar on any given night and find 3 or 4 drunken douche bags just like him (anyone wearing a pink American Eagle polo is probably a good place to start).

So while all of the Internet except us may believe that Mike Mizanin has created a classic heel character, I can't help but disagree. See, I've seen Mike Mizanin on several of MTV's reality shows and the 'character' I saw on those shows was the same 'character' I see on WWE programming. I'm almost entirely sure that Mizanin is an obnoxious, mildly retarded ape in real life.

And no, I don't just hate the Miz simply because of that. I wouldn't even be bothered with him if Woo didn't insist he was such a popular wrestler and it wasn't so much fun to rag on him for it. We all have strange favorite wrestlers. MB as the Warlord. Knox has Orton. I'm sure Flyers likes Harvey Whippleman or something. Me? I'm all aboard the trendwagon and like mostly popular wrestlers.

But the Miz? No.
