Okay here we go with this game. Hopefully it'll be fun, but I realized that there really aren't that many characters I actually like.
I even had to get rid of a few Season 2 characters that sucked like West and Monica.
Here are the brackets;
Hiro vs. Maya HRG vs. Arthur Elle vs. Nikki Ando vs. Flint Peter vs. Claire Sylar vs. Molly Haitian vs. Meredith Nathan vs. Angela Kaito vs. Micah Partman vs. Mohinder Adam vs. Bob Maury vs. Ted Knox vs. Eden Isaac vs. Charley Daphne vs. Candace Claude vs. DL
So up first;
Hiro vs. Maya
Hiro obviously!

Hiro teleports into Round 2 while Mayo dies in a puddle of her black tears.
HRG vs. Arthur
Arthur Petrelli sucked. Terrible, terrible character. Mr. Bennet aka HRG aka Noah is the man.

Arthur had a lot of potential when he was first introduced. At first he seemed like the supervillain of the show, a character that could be recurring and cause lots of havok for not only the heroes, but the world as well. He could have been better than Sylar. Instead, he became pg-13 Sylar, stealing peoples powers but leaving them alive. The writers shit the bed with Arthur and what he could have been to the show.
HRG was awesome when he was introduced. He was the Lex Luthor of Heroes; despite not having any powers his mastermind thinking made him badass and intimidating. When he was onscreen, the viewer is thinking "Oh snap, what sort of deviousness is he up to now?" His arc over the first season was compelling too, it put HRG in a situation where he had to choose love over duty. The moment HRG opted to leave the company to protect Claire, he became one-dimensional. All he's on the show for now is to say "I HAVE TO SAVE CLAIRE" and start shooting at people. He's become very boring, and very expendable; if the show could grow a pair and commit to the killing off of their characters, i would say HRG would probably end up dead in volume 4.
I'll vote for HRG. his one full season of being interesting trumps Arthurs 2-3ish episodes.

Also imo the best episode in the series ever was Company Man in season one which was all about HRG.
Elle vs. Nikki/Jessica/Tracy
Now I don't hate Ali Larter's characters nearly as much as everyone else. They all had huge potential (see a pattern here?). Nikki was effectively The Incredible Hulk. Only her hulk side was pure evil. But due to poor writing they never gave her much to do. Then they said that 'Jessica' was her dead twin and there was simply no way back from that, well there was and that was to completely cop out by saying that the dual personality wasn't her ability at all and just a side effect that people have. Pathetic. Why hasn't anybody else had that yet?
Also I still think it would have been great if Peter absorbed her twin personality power and be half evil in Season 2. Could have been awesome.
Anyway Elle gets my vote. She was simply electric (pun intended) in all her scenes in Season 2. But as usual the writers fucked it up. I am sick of fascinating characters like Elle, Bob, Knox and Muary be killed simply because they weren't in the first season of Heroes. It's bullshit.

Elle for me as well. I dubber Ali Larter scenes as Coffer Break scenes. I hated everything to do with her on this show, from the first moment in season one to the last of season three. I don't know if it was her suspect acting that made her characters boring, or her boring characters making her acting suspect, but i really just can't stand Larter on this show which sucks cause it looks like they're going to up her importance in volume 4.
Elle was one of the few bright spots in season 2. Season 3 Elle sucked balls, one week loving Sylar, the next week hating him and manipulating him, the week after loving him again. Plus, i always, always hate when a character, in any fashion, is screaming at somebody to kill them, and there was an entire episode of Elle trapped in a closet (yes, south park reference) with Sylar screaming "JUST DO IT KILL ME YOU MONSTER GRRRR ME DIE NOW CMON!"
but yeah, Elle gets my vote. But too be fair, the only way i would vote for Larter was if she were against Maya, her twin or Mikah. A dog turd would get my vote over Larter.

Elle 'shockingly' goes through.
Ando vs. Flint
Ando! Flint hasn't been fleshed out enough to give a crap about him and everybody likes Ando.

Peter vs. Claire
Um....neither?
Peter wins as he was cool in season one. Claire has sucked throughout.

Peter. i've liked him for most of the series, save for some spots here and there (mostly season 3). He was badass when he was good sylar.
Plus, Claire seems to be a lot more incestuous than Peter.

Plus, Claire seems to be a lot more incestuous than Peter. Yeah.....for me that would be a reason to keep her in.... Sylar vs. MollyMolly Walker the adoptive daughter of Partman and Spider-Man is out for revenge against Sylar! I'm voting for Sylar though.

Sylar for me too. He was awesome in season one, season two he was okay could have been better but really installed that he's a bad guy, season 3 he sucked.
If Molly had a bigger role, she'd have gotten my vote. but all i remember about her was getting sick, then getting trapped in her mind by Parkman's dad.

Yeah, Sylar. When handled correctly, he makes a great villain…
