If they didn't take time to explain what has happened in the last three years then you would've been all, "What bullshit, they never explain anything on this show."
Well you are probably going to continue to get pissed cause one of the up coming episodes is going to explain what Kate did to Aaron.

Yeah......it didn't explain anything about Aaron at all...
So the last episode was better. Learning that the baby was Ethan was kind of cool and seeing Ben at the end with Sayid was a great moment too. Man that boy is evil. This must have been around the time Ben was secretly with the hostiles so he probably knows that Sayid isn't who he claims he is. I don't get why Sawyer didn't just say "Jack, Kate, Sayid, Hurley, you're alive! We thought you died after our boat wrecked here. Wow you been secretly living on the island for 3 years?" rather than do his charade.
How great was it of Sawyer when he owwwwned Jack and called him a bad leader who never thought?
Why do you suppose Sun didn't go back in time with the rest? It was cool when she layed out Ben with that oar too. Oh and that WAS a runway they were building in season 3.
I dunno how long the series is but they really should step it up a gear now. Something exciting needs to happen. Maybe I was spoilt by Season 4's adrenaline rush but this has been rather mellow thus far.

So what did everyone think of this week's Lost?
Looks like the Egyptian theme is true. I guess the statue us of the god Anubis and that Smokey seems to work for it as judge, jury and executioner. It does seem to fit the whole purgatory thing that everyone thought of way back in season 1, except for the fact we know Jack, Kate etc are not dead. But is Locke dead ala' Christian and Claire?
Why did Ben say "The dead are dead"? Did he not see his own dead mother?
Getting back to the Egyptian theme maybe Richard Alpert really is the god RA.
So what's up with the new crash surviours and the uprising? I think that woman, Illana is it?, are working for Widmore. And what 'lies in the shadow of the statue?' I read someone comment 'I think it's Ben...... he lies everywhere!"
And how good was the scene where Ben told that guy that Locke shouldn't be trusted then he killed him to gain Locke's trust. That man is evil! Why did Smokey let him live?

When Ben was at that desk getting that picture of his daughter, where was that? I know they mentioned what station it was but I forgot.
This season has been up and down in terms of excitement but overall it's been good. I enjoyed that flashback of Ben vs Widmore to kind of show how the hatred started. It seemed kinda short however but I guess they only briefly ran into each other over the years.
I want to know where the hell Farady is.
Also, good thing Desmond selected the bullet proof grocery bag when he went shopping. Desmond would be long gone if he decided to select plastic.

Nah Ben and Widmore have known each other for years. Ben was just a child when he met Charles and Ben was an adult (and Alex must have been about 5) when Widmore was evicted from the island.
Yeah where is Farraday and Rose, Bernard and Vincent?

Do you really care where Rose and Bernard are or are you just being fair and balanced in your concern?

Well after a couple of what felt like filler episodes and then the week off for they could show a recap show, lost was back.
This episode was like the presidential new conference shown prior to Lost. While you had some great questions that needed to be answered going into the night, the questions that were actually given were exceptionally lame and irrelevant just like the answers that were given to said lame questions.
None the less, the action (in lost, done making the connection to the new conference as the only thing even close to action in that was Obama’s response to the one pansy news reporter who wasted everyone’s time by asking what enchanted the president the most) was intense and from start to finish and it was extremely gripping and dare I say compelling.
So Sawyer flat out tells Jack that he fucked everything up by returning and now they ruined their cover and now have to move to the beaches.
Daniel comes back and with the help of Kate and Jack are off to find the hostiles in order for Daniel to find his mother.
However, they are caught getting weapons for the janitors closet and oh snap an intense gun fight breaks out turning Jack, Kate, and Daniel into pro weapon users for some reason. Anyway Daniel gets shot but it was only a minor scrap. Anyway while Jack, Kate, and Daniel leave to find the hostiles Swayer and everyone else finally get caught.
The lesson here is either if you live a lie your eventually gonna get caught or don’t help friends cause they’ll blow your cover. Either way sawyer and company are left in a tricky situation.
Meanwhile Daniel has Richard at point blank when Daniels mom shoots and kills his son. When Richard asks why she did it, Hawking sates that he had a gun imply that Richard can in fact die.
In the flashback we reveal that Charles Widmore……. Is the father of Daniel.
All in all I enjoyed the episode very much.
Did anyone watch this on ABC (Steala) notice the annoying random clips during the commercial in which a quick random scene would pop up and then a “did you see that?” I don’t know what it’s for nor do I care but it was extremely annoying.
Anyway, does anyone else think this thing come be wrapped up in this season?
With three episodes left have one episode of Jack and Kate saving everyone from the explosion and then stop Ben from killing everyone.
Then in the final two have one devoted to explaining the history of the island with a Richard flashback and then have the finale having everyone leave the island and go back to their original time period devoting the final 10mins to explain what the future holds for everyone.

Another great episode. I have to say though, I was tremendously disappointed when they copped out of Ben's death (after Sayid shot him earlier this season) but I'll be even more disappointed if they don't cop out on Faraday's death. WTF? He's quickly become the best character on Lost (since y'know, Sayid is hiding in the jungle somewhere) and is finally giving the story some real direction this season. Don't shoot him, douche bags! Anyone want to venture a guess as to who Frank's parents are? Everyone he came to the island with in season four had parents living on the island/involved with the island in some way in 1977. I'm guessing Phil. Did anyone watch this on ABC (Steala) notice the annoying random clips during the commercial in which a quick random scene would pop up and then a “did you see that?” I don’t know what it’s for nor do I care but it was extremely annoying. Yeah, I think the question was "what did you see?" but I don't really care what I saw or didn't see. On a very unrelated note, I've been enjoying the show that follows Lost these days (The Unusuals). Harold Perrineau is in it and it's actually pretty funny. Hopefully it doesn't get cancelled.

Speaking of getting cancelled, Chuck might not return next season.

Speaking of getting cancelled, Chuck might not return next season. That sucks. I haven't seen the finale yet, but I was kind of wondering what they'd do with the show next year storyline-wise anyway.

That was an excellent episode of Lost.
I loved the way that Daniel confirmed several stuff such as why the Swan was built and gave relevance to the hydrogen bomb.
I can't believe they killed Daniel (all episode I was thinking who it's amazing that someone from the fourth season has become one of the best characters), I think he has to stay dead for the story to work (well as dead as someone can be on the island). His mum is a twat, sending him to die like that. Why did Daniel have to go to the island again? I called the twist of Daniel's dad weeks ago, but it as nice to be right. Who's Penny's mother?
I am wondering if Desmond is gone now too, seemed like a good way to write him off. If so then my two favourite characters just left in the same episode.
They won't change history will they? I reckon Kate is selfish enough to NOT change it so she doesn't go to prison and can stare at Jack all day.
I think Sawyer should say that the guy in the cupboard was working with Kate and that's why he locked him up.
I am actually more interested on the present day islanders at the moment. It's all kicking off there.
Easily one of the best episodes of the season.

I haven't got much time to write a lot here as I need some sleep but I just have to say- AMAZING EPISODE!
Probably the best one of the season to date. Soooooooo many mark-out moments.
Damn I KNEW I would be right here. What a selfish bitch! I hope they do change the past so Kate can end up in prison where she belongs the horrid bitch. She would rather Charlie, Shannon, Claire, Boon, Eko, Ana Lucia, Libby, Michael, Nikki, Paulo & Frogot Guy die than go to prison.
Granted 4 of those people were murderers, another became a murderer on the island, one was a junkie, one was mental, two were spoilt shagging step-children and Frogot Guy was a dick, but still.

Did anyone actually enjoy the finale? I just watched it last night and I wasn't that thrilled with it. SPOILERS[/SIZE]
This episode didn't really feel like a finale. It didn't really do much. It had Jacob visiting the people of the island at pivotal times in their lives, but some were before the crash and some were after they got back home...I didn't really understand the point of it all.
There really weren't many questions answered. The Lost producers should change the hype for the finale to "Answers will be questioned!"
Old Question: How is Locke alive? Assumed Answer: Well, I assume the island's incredible healing powers brought him back to life whenever his corpse arrived. What we learned in the finale: John Locke's corpse was still in the plane's cargo hold. It appears the person we took for John Locke the majority of this season isn't a person at all but some sort of alien sentient being who has multiple John Locke outfits in its wardrobe. New Question: WTF?
Old Question: What lies in the shadow of the statue? Assumed Answer: Sand. Water. Depends what time of day it is I guess. What we learned in the finale: lle qui nos omnes servabit. New Question: Closed captioning?
Old Question: Does anyone actually care where Rose & Bernard are? Assumed Answer: You mean other than Woo? No. What we learned in the finale: Sawyer and Juliet actually searched for them for several days or something, but Rose & Bernard didn't want to be found. Also Bernard has a killer beard. New Question: Why didn't Rose & Benard just tell them this like three years ago before they wasted days looking for them? Idiots.
So they detonated the hydrogen bomb. What kind of damage would result from that? Can Jack, Sawyer, and Kate run that fast? Also there's no way Juliet would even be able to move after that fall, let alone bash the bomb with a rock.

Okay so Locke is dead after all. Then who is the Locke that we saw all season then? The smoke monster!
Okay well maybe not the smoke monster exactly, but kinda. We saw the smoke monster appear in front of Eko and then his brother Yemi appeared. We heard the usual smoke monster noises this year when Sun and Frank went to the main island and we then saw Christian. And then we saw the smoke monster turn into Alex and confront Ben.
There must be a connection between the dead people and Smokey and obviously Smokey and Jacob's rival have history. Maybe smokey spend all this time searching for the right person who's form it could take in order to kill Jacob? When it faced Eko and Ben you could see flashbacks to their pasts, so maybe it was looking into that to see how well suited they were?
I find it funny how Jack wants to reset time, despite the fact that everyone on the plane had a shit life. You erase their past and Kate will be in prison, Charlie on heroin, Rose will die of cancer, Locke in a wheelchair and Sawyer will never get revenge on the man who killed his parents.
So about those Jacob scenes, it seemed to me that Jacob was testing everyone. We had a lot about 'Jacob's lists' and how some were good people and others were not. Jacob told Kate not to steal again, but she did. Sawyer was told not to finish the letter, but he did. Sun & Jin were told to never take their love for granted, but they did too..... okay I don't get the Jack and Locke scenes yet, but it seems that Jacob brought him back to life, which was interesting.

Yeah, I actually almost fell asleep during the final lol. Anyway, I really liked Jacob until he was kicked into the fire pit, LAME!
Anyway, while the final wasn't as good as past episodes it was still ok....
Bring on the final 17 episodes so I can finally be done with this show!
The night after more then made up for it with a kick ass season final of the office and a rather entertaining season final of P & R.
