wtf this is not the what are you watching movie thread. This is the TV show thread. I expected Sadie to post in the wrong thread because he is new, but I expected much more from our own Admin... Where the hell does it say this is a TV-exclusive thread Carter? Where's the problem? In response to Knoxy... Yeah Christmas this year is gonna kinda suck for me also. We buried my Nannan a couple of days ago. She was old (83) but we were very close. We always used to meet up at her house on Christmas Day with all the family and open our presents. It was a tradition we'd had since me and my brothers were small boys. And to add to the hearbreak, my younger brother could not even make the funeral as he is currently serving in Afghan with the Royal Marines. Shame. But life has to go on, and I'm sure our departed loved ones would be deeply hurt if they thought we felt guilty for having fun after they have left us. On TV recently I have re-watched The Lost Room, a little-known three-parter from last year which really blew me away with a unique and mysterious premise which was neither overly far-fetched nor corny. Definitely worth checking out. Also, I watched a film called Terror Firmer again. I've seen it several times before but it never fails to amuse and disgust me in equal measure. It's from Troma, the no-budget independent filmmakers who brought us such schlock classics as The Toxic Avenger I-IV, Surf Nazis Must Die and Rabid Grannies. And finally, tonight I watched Invasion, starring Nicole Kidman and Daniel Craig. It's a pretty spooky update of The Body Snatchers. It's quite scary in places and also a bit depressing with it's social commentary. It's rather good and worth watching if you get chance. I probably wouldn't buy it though.

Those words have helped though. I guess it's just weird, I've mad an effort to come home for Christmas this year and none of my sisters have arranged anything for xmas day. It's weird because my mums house would of been the place we all went, regardless of fallings out with other family members. Xmas day was the one day of the year we'd all meet up and get on. This year, I just cant feel the magic of christmas as normal. I'm now watching The Dark Knight on Blu Ray. My GF got it for me, forgetting that when I go back, me's cant play on my CA PS3. Awesome film though.

I made the thread mb, as a tv show one to go along with the movie one. The movie one is down the page further. I guess the title of the name being the same name as the movie one got confusing. Oh well, I just didn't want to have the threads mix. To late now I guess.
Anyway, yeah I got Dark Knight too knox on dvd. I don't have a blu ray player. Is it really that much better? Plus all the Blu Ray's are so much more money then regular dvd's....
