Picked this up yesterday, just wondering if you guys (Electra mostly) have it and what you think.

I had a stress getting it from Play.com- preordered it and its still not here so I went and picked up a copy from Game.

Played a bit last night, the new areas are rammed and my server had an 80 minute queue(!) Managed to get 50% to level 71 but tiredness won out. Ill be playing later once the kids are in bed

I started in the Howling Fjord which I think is beautiful, not seen much of the icyness yet- I think the Lich King is slacking but so far, so good.

I hear someone is already level 80 That just defies all sadness imo

How are you finding it?

Well, this is a copy/paste from Pw.com about my initial thoughts.

I pulled a C and started levelling fishing, racking up a few achievements as I go.

Towards the end of last night I did the first few Northrend Quests which were fun, despite the minor lag you forget how cool it is to see so many other people in places other than the major cities.

Someone got a realm first and became the first Grandmaster Blacksmith, which is bloody sad in my opinion given it's only been out a few hours.

There are also lvl 68 DKs running around and people almost hitting 75 already. Losers.

"C" is a poster there.

I have had no problems getting on to the server, no queues or anything.

The people at level 80 already can't be having any fun at all, it must be such a chore for them. Something don't envy. I'll play at my own pace thanks.

Same here, I think its less fun for the poor sods who are out of their group but still killing stuff/ healing them and thus getting no exp for it... weirdos.

Although I also hear that someone got banned for exploiting their way to 79 and were rolled back to 70... LMAO

Haha, how did the exploit exactly?

On a side note: I can't wait until the weekend to play this properly.

I *think* it was to do with a mob in Utgade Keep that keeps spawning adds. The exploit comes because they managed to not be in a group with the paladin when they were in an instance :/

I scored T4 Chest and Shoulders when everyone was in a blind panic to raid pre-WOTLK, but they'll be redundant soon.

Hee hee, I managed to go from fresh 70 to T6 through some schmoozing in my new guild

Yeah I can never stick with an alt. Lenne is the only 70 char I have, I respecced back to retri a couple of months ago and enjoyed a brief overpowered stint after the new patch.

Even with a heavy nerfing I can now finally keep up with other classes when I PVP.

After much deliberation I decided to level my druid 70- 80 first, hence the sucking up to new guild heh heh hehe. I managed to get a priest, lock, shaman and pally to 70 during TBC so I wont be stuck for something to do in the coming months Theyre all in fresh 70 gear except the lock who has T4/badger loot

I have always kinda been fascinated by the world of WoW, but due to the limitations of my laptops never been able to play it. It's probably a good thing though as given my addictive personality I'd end up hooked to the game and never leave the house. I am hoping they make some console port or a console RPG similar, but one which does not require you to pay every month.

So is this like a sequel or an expansion pack?

My laptop isn't the best for playing it but Ii still have fun. Dinged 71 today.

... and yes I know I'm a nerd, that's why I don't have a girlfriend or friends.
