Well Prison Break Season 4, or as I like to call it- Prison Break: The wacky adventures of Michael Schofield and friends- has returned.
Well what do you guys think of the season so far guys? So far I'm not really digging it. I mean it's fun for what it is, but doesn't feel like Prison Break. I wasn't a huge fan of Season 3 but overall the good outweighed the bad. This series although not bad seems strange and I guess a bit of a cop-out. The whole of last year was built around James Whistler and then he gets bumped off right away, odd. Also the less said about Sarah's return the better.
Still I'll carry on watching after spending so much time investing in these characters and hope they all survive the season and have a happy ending, though in Mahone's case that will be 'relatively happy' after what he went through.
On the plus side T-Bag is still great. The bit in the desert after he escaped from Sona somehow and has to ate his Mexican friend and end up feeling sick when he bumps into the quad-bikers was hilarious. "You alright? Eat some bad Mexican?" "something like that"

I like it more than Season 3 (my least favorite season) so far, actually. After the first few episodes, Sona kind of lost the mystique.
Season 4, on the other hand, seems a little too much like Ocean's 11 at points, but that's okay I suppose. The Whistler kill was a surprise and I guess that's what you'd expect from a show like this that deals with "high stakes" (not the poker kind).

I'm enjoying season 4 a lot. Season 3 was really crap. And pretty boring for large swathes of it. Season 4 on the other hand has set it's stall out right from the beginning, and as such has given each character an exact focus. Sarah does seem surplus to requirements though. But I guess she is just there for leverage against Michael.
I like the episodic feel to these early episodes. It's not meandering and getting lost within itself like the previous two seasons. But I guess there's still time yet...
And I'm glad Gretchen's not dead, as I see her role becoming similar to Mahone's where she helps the team with her knowledge of The Company. Bellick seems very downtrodden by the rest of the team, but I reckon he will have a major role to play later in the season.
And Teabag, always the favourite, just oozes sweaty menace with every twich. It seems as though the writers have made his character as immortal as the brothers.
All in all, I am enjoying this season more than seasons two and three, but I just hope it doesn't start getting too convoluted for it's own good this time.

I got so bored during season three that I almost turned off for good. But I'm trying to get into four. It's hard. Except for the T-Bag scenes. I don't know why I like him so much but his character definitely adds that element of surprise, disgust, and delight to the show.

I missed the last episode due to going to Monday Night Football and hanging with Hank Williams and his rowdy friends (if one person reading this thread gets that reference, it will be worth it).
I was about to ask if anyone knew where to watch it online, but I just checked hulu and it's on there...Quite frankly, I don't know why I'm still posting this, but yeah...it's on hulu.
Informative.

lol.
I always seem to use Megavideo. Sadly all the videos are in 'codes' like PrsnBrk406 so that ABC/NBC etc won't take them down, but also makes it impossible to find them.
Anyway I liked the last episode, the best so far I reckon. The building tension with Mahone and Wyatt is thrilling. The bit where Wyatt made the gun with his hands was cool, but I wanted Mahone to do it back to him, or maybe just give him the finger- that'd been hilarious.
Gretchan has turned into superspy and it's obvious they are trying to make her more sympathetic, like they did with Mahone and T-Bag, but I don't like her still. The end where she confronts Bagwell and has the gun on him was the single most exciting thing so far in the series, I love it. Hopefully them two will finish whatever it is that T-Bag was trying to finish in that office, not least because the woman who works there is damn hot.
Also it seems that the annoying computer geek guy may have an ulterior motive after picking up Mahone's note from the bin......well that or he just likes going through trash.

Maybe he is just suspicious of Mahone's secret phonecalls round the back of the buiding. He will discover Mahone's secret of formerly working for The Company, and maybe try and hold him to ransom, or spill the beans to the brothers and force Mahone to come clean with the information.
Or perhaps he will keep the information to himself, and perhaps try to contact Wyatt (what a horrible, horrible man) himself, thus placing the whole team in jeapordy.
The Geek is getting a bit of a raw deal out of all this if you ask me. I mean, it's all thanks to him that they are able to clone the cards, but every single time he opens his his mouth, all Linc says is "SHUT UP!" If I were him I'd tell them all to fuck off and take charge instead of being downtrodden all the time. And Bellick's the same. Everything he says is met with disapproval or indifference. At one time he was the baddest son of a bitch in Fox River, but now he's like a little scalded dog. GROW SOME BALLS, MAN!

Yeah Bellick became a complete coward ever since being raped in Sona (well it was implied he was raped at the end of Season 2). Linc sucks, he really does. It's because of him that every one's in this shitty mess in the first place. If it weren't for him then Bellick would still be working in Fox River, Sucre would have been released by now and possibly won over his Marie Cruz and Mahone might have got back with his family. Michael and Sarah would also be happy, though never having met each other.
As for the deaths well Tweener, Haywire, Veronica, Abruzzi, Luchero, Geary, Bill Kim, Whistler, Sarah's dad, Kellerman, Danny Hayle (Kellerman's friend), 'Cherry' and so, so many more, including the freaking US president, would still be alive if it weren't for him.
And yet he still acts like a complete cock to everyone as if they owe him something. Show some humility asshole. Yes he didn't kill Terrance Steadman, but he was going to and in-fact if Linc was never in that car park then Steadman would still be alive too. Oh and Linc's Dad's death is his and Michael's hands too.
Only two people are better off now due to Linc and Michael and thankfully they are my two favourite characters T-Bag (who is better off despite being a hand down) and C-Note- who is now a freeman after out smarting the brothers and Mahone.
Yeah Bellick should stand up for himself more. I care more about him than I do about Linc these days. Lincoln is probably the least sympathetic character there is. I want to see Brad, Sucre, Michael and especially Mahone survive, even T-Bag, but as for Burrowes- send him back to Fox River as far as I care. Wow what a rant.

Well this will indeed be prison breaks final year... www.tvguide.com/News/Prison-Break-final-1001583.aspxI have to say this is a smart move. The show has been getting pretty stale imo and at least now they can wrap things up before things get even more ridiculous...

Season 2 should have been the last one. Everything was tied up nicely, but they couldn't resist one more season, which then led to another due to the greedy writers strike.
It's good news though. Prison Break was an enjoyable show at worst and the most gripping nail biting program ever at best. I've decided to not watch any more of Season 4 and to just wait for the DVD release. Might as well complete the set.

Season 1 was one of the best seasons I've seen for any show...

I don't see where they could've gone after this season anyway. It's time to end it.
I still enjoyed this past season though, even through all the ridiculous backstabbing SWERVES~!
