www.youtube.com/watch?v=BJY3Kx0E8ZMWow, can't wait for this. Some leave and some don't, wow. Although it doesn't say that the ones that leave are actually going home. Anyway, I'm really looking forward to this, even though thanks to the stupid writers they will probably show like the first 6 and then have to go on hiatus.

Have they filmed just 6 episodes? Because this could really suck having a huge break.

The number I heard was eight, and they will be breaking at that, regardless of whether the strike ends or not. Supposedly it has a pretty good cliffhanger.

Well we already know that some of them don't make it off, so that wouldn't be much of a cliffhanger.

I didn't...
Not a bad guess though.

Actually I think it was a bad guess. It was wrong. There are only four types of guesses - good, bad, educated, and wild. Good guesses are correct. Educated guesses require research. At best it was a wild guess, but certainly that is nothing to brag about.

How about that premiere episode fellas? *spoilers ahead*
I thought it was great. One of the best in a long time, maybe since season 2. They kind of teased at the beginning that it would be a Jack-centric episode, but I was happy to see it was about Hurley. So Hurley is one of the "Oceanic Six" that make it off the island, along with Jack and Kate. It's going to be great finding out who the other three are. I like that they brought Charlie back to kind of play Hugo's conscience.
It's also good to see that future Jack wasn't always crazy. The "I think I'm going to grow a beard", "You'd look weird with a beard" exchange was funny.
My favorite part of the episode was when Jack pulled the trigger on the gun but Locke tells him it isn't loaded. Another classic part to the Jack vs. Locke feud.

Yeah it was good. When I first saw Jack in the flash-forward I was like "ffs not him again!!" but thankfully it was a Hurley episode. A very bizarre Hurley episode though. I have no idea who that scary black man was that came to visit him. I too liked the exchange about Jack growing a beard and it was very interesting hearing Hurley tell Jack that they have to go back and mirrored Jack telling Kate the same thing.
My favorite moment was Hurley getting lost in the jungle and then coming across Jacob's shack. I let off a Joey Styles-ish "oh my god!!" when I saw that. Anyone think that the eye Hurley saw might of been that of Locke and not Jacob? I think John might have been in the shack chilling out with Jacob and discussing who the hottest island girl is then heard someone approaching and then left to chase Hurley after he ran off.
Anyone see if Sayid left with Jack or Locke? I hope Jack as I really am not looking forward to episodes just featuring Jack, Kate, Juliet, Bernard, Rose and the Koreans.
The episode seemed to ask more questions than answer, but was very good indeed. (I wouldn't say best episode since season 2 as I think the end episodes of Season 3 such as Through The Looking Glass and Greatest Hits, my personal favorite, were phenomenal).
It's great to have Lost back!

I don't know for sure, but I believe Sayid stayed with Jack. They didn't show him walking over to Locke's side at least.

I thought it was great. Before the season started I knew they were going to have one of those weird openings where you think your watching the wrong show then all of a sudden at the very end they show something that makes you realize that it is lost. Season 2 had the Desmond thing and season 3 had the Juliet with the plane crash one. This one with Hurley driving was kind of predictable, especially when they had him take forever to leave the car. But his hands were so fat you knew it was Hurley.
I liked the flash forwards and for some reason Charlie looked really creepy, I mean i know he is dead and all that but still.
The whole stuff on the island was very interesting. My favorite part like woo said was when Hurley looked into the shack and saw Jacob rocking in that chair then Locke's eye pops up. Apparently Hurley is fatter then I thought seeing as how he couldn’t out run a house.
The very end was great with that guy flying in and asking if he was Jack. I'm looking forward to figuring out why these guy's are here. It sucks how the characters are divided but of course they will come together soon. Also, no Michael yet but they said he will come in early in season 4 so another thing to look forward to.

Well first of all I said in my last post that I thought Hurley saw Locke’s eye in the hatch window, but apparently it was a different colour so now I am thinking that it might be Jacob’s after all.
Lmao @ Flyers “Hurley can’t outrun a house” comment. Unless the house moved of course? Locke and Ben looked surprised when Hurley told them that the were going the wrong way from where the shack is. It’s probably just that Hurley was confused and Locke and Ben were shocked that somebody else knows of Jacob’s hatch.
Okay so we have 4 new members and amazingly not one of them is annoying! Though Ghost whispering is a bit too much…Miles will have a field day on that island with all the dead people walking around. I think his character was introduced as way of making sense of the dead people sightings.
Elsewhere my favourite scene was new girl Charlotte finding the remains of a polar bear and Dharma Hydra logo- in Tunisia! Okay I am going to suggest a theory now and that is that Oceanic and Dharma are working together. I think that Dharma used to work in Tunisia but wanted somewhere more secluded. So they moved to the island. Then for some reason Oceanic staged the crash of flight 815 as we saw in this weeks episode. I then think Oceanic sent Dharma a list of all the passengers not knowing that the hostiles had taken over so their messages went to eye-patch man instead. This would explain why Ben and Co. knew so much about the passengers and also explain why they were still sending food to the guys in the hatch.
I then think that they found out Ben had led a hostile revolt and now they want him captured so they can take over the island again. One hole in my theory is that Desmond crashed the plane, not Oceanic. Also another question I have is why Naomi had a picture of Desmond. Are the 4 new characters trying to capture Desmond too, or just Naomi?
Well nothing much else happened in this weeks episode besides the introduction of the 4 new characters, oh apart from the helicopter of course!!! It was a good episode, even if it didn’t answer any questions and asked a lot more such as “who’s Ben’s man on the boat?” but it was good. I just hope this season doesn’t end up like the second one which added loads of questions without answering any.
Still, the season if off to a great start.
