A problem shared is a problem halved as the old saying goes.

Too scared to ask real people for advice?
Well fear not, problemee, for advice is at hand.
Whether it's a real problem (unlikely), or just a bit of fun (likely), I am sure the three remaining active members of this forum will put the world to rights with their level-headedness.
This will undoubtedly descend into a surreal piss-take thread, but in all seriousness, if you have any real serious issues in your life that you'd just sooner share with robotic strangers, then this advice is often better than that of those close to you, so don't be afraid to ask.

Dear agony aunt,
Its that time of year again where everyone gets maudlin about the past and stuff, so in an attempt to avoid such feelings I decided to go to a place "where everybody knows your name". However it seems even more deserted than the last time I was there. How do I find my old friends? Or should I just end it all now?

I would say just end it all, but then you would miss the next installment of the random newbie with issues-moderator piss-take-because-we-can. And that, you don't wanna miss.
You could always get involved in the Random Breaking Bad Discussion thread, and spoil it for someone who's never seen the show.
You could even take part in the Spam Each Member With Emails And See How Many Take The Bait And Return game that Steala came up with while thinking of new ways to abuse his admin power.
And finally don't forget, there's only one month to go now until Woo's annual Royal Rumble Betting visit, before he vanishes for another year while he gets chips.
So you see, there's more reasons to be here than not to be here. Whether the place is emptier than Jimmy Saville's slippers or not - there is always new shit to start.
Right here, on Powerslam (cheap pop!).
They say as soon as one door closes another one opens. Thing is, soon as the door opens everyone fucks off through it never to be seen or heard from again.
Man, Christmas is so depressing. Think we should both move to Bridgend together and end it all...

See, my problem is thinking every post is made by the same person (most likely me if recent history is any indication), because of these goddamn matching anthropomorphic purple pony avatars and banners. It's worse than Borging Day.
MetalBlade's portal pony is pretty cool though.

Well, good going. You killed Powerslam with your no-laptop-havingness. You knew Powerslam was streamlined to run on the power of Woo many years ago. YOU KNEW THIS. We tried to retrofit it to run on blue meth, but it's a limited resource (and there's no telling what it's done to the Sexytimemove environment).
