Hahaha. Yeah, likewise with the 14 year old Steala.
May 31st? Maybe I'm wrong...if that's the case, we've already had our 10 year anniversary. I thought it was October for some reason.
I've got no clue how I arrived upon Powerslam. I signed up on December 31st (Only remember that because it was tagged on my posts like here. I also remember I was member 336.) and didn't actually post until several months later when I noticed an email from the site in my mailbox and decided to check it out again. My life was never the same.
On an unrelated note, I'm getting an alert from my anti-virus software about the favicon on this site every time I hit another page, because it's apparently a suspicious URL. And that's pretty annoying.

Yeah, I really can't be sure of the dates. It's just as likely it could have been october. The only thing I can say definitively is that I was member #17... Could we have gotten 336 members in 3 months? Probably. It was a good domain... And to be fair, even though I was #17, there were no members with a lower number who were active after the first month.. except Rich. So of 336 members we might have had 30 active users.
Be good to hear what Kel and Hague remember of it.

I think it's possible. Like you said, it was really active back then. You'd know better than me though. I wasn't around the first couple months.
We should ask Woo. He'd know somehow.

He'd definitely have stalked the old posts. The man is nothing short of thorough. I might be mistaken but I recall a wipe of posts early in the sites existence, though that's not definite. It was a decade ago and I often have trouble remembering what day it is today.

I remember a loss of a pretty large amount of posts at some point, though I'm not sure if it's the time you're talking about. It wasn't really the most reliable website, so I'm sure it's not.

It's nearly six years since I signed up for it. I remember I was at a festival in Germany at this time in 2005 when I spoke to my wife and she told me she bought a PC whilst I was away. When I got back, Powerslam was the first forum I signed up to after mistakenly thinking it was affiliated to Powerslam Magazine, which is a British wrestling monthly. I remember me and Ghost were the two biggest Taz marks on there. This was amongst my first attempts at making my own banner, after witnessing the greatness of the Hellion Studio, I decided I wanted some of that PhotoShop action:

Very kind of you to say, Metal. Thank you. I'm a week or two away from everything settling down here and considering having another look at redoing the skin for our ten year anniversary... Whenever it was/is...
I miss Ghost. He was one of the original defectors from PW, back when he was K-Dogg, I think. Guy disappeared after he moved to Puerto Rico. He used to chat to Angie quite a bit on MSN. I tried to find him through her a few years back but she had chatted with him in some time. Who knows what might have become of our resident 'sassy black man'.

I believe this is the only photo that exists of him. Unfortunately it's in black & white, because Kid Crazy moves so fast his color cannot be captured by modern still photo technology. Hold onto your hats!

LOL. Shittest. Thing. Ever.
I remember that knob head BS "Crash X" Cullen reckoned he was gonna be trained by Dory Funk Jr of all people. He was not called BS for nothing, that's for sure.
I also remember burning him beyond all recognition here on this board.

It's always fun to have a wrestling legend on the forums.

I was going to say that makes sense because I'm his only fan, but it's not the actual copy from my photobucket account so I'm going to say Google images' comparison of Kid Crazy to Randy Savage and/or Jesus is ridiculous and offensive, because Kid Crazy is better than them both combined.

We've been here since 2006 and I just realized you could click the number of replies for each thread and see who posted how many.
I'm destroying you guys in this thread.
