Years ago I was a regular on the old Powerslam.net forums. Today I decided to check in for the first time in years and to my dismay the site was dead. I googled Powerslam Forums and this site popped up.
By any chance is this forum related in any way to that one?
If so, I may return...
If not, I may hang out for a while anyways, I've been meaning to get back into wrestling.

You don't know me as I joined in 2004 after you left.
I remember your efed character I think, what is Dave Defrankesco something....(was that you?) Also weren't you one of the first FWE Champions?
Yeah as Steala said powerslam.net was closed down by (R)ichard. There are more members here you might know such as Electra and Hellion and Axel makes an apperance once in a blue moon.

Sweet! Well that does it, I'm back!
Dave Difrancesco was me indeed. I was a champion in FWE, don't recall how many reigns I had. I led a faction called The Hardcore Revolution. I was also a writer for a period.
So how's everyone been?
I haven't been watching wrestling regularly for years but I did catch TNA on Monday and saw my nWo heroes all together again, with EZE (who I am named after). I'm probably going to keep up with that.

Hey Electra. Been worse, been better. Trying to shake that feeling I've got. It's the one I always get when I'm sitting at home online when work expected me to be there. But fuck 'em I say. Using a phone is beyond all means when changing my schedule, but not when calling me to find out why I didn't show up, huh? Not worth the bullshit.
Anyways.
How's things on your end?

Hey Steve, are you still travelling or are you home now? Hey Kel, Still on the road. In Hoi An, Vietnam at the moment. Getting tailored clothing and what not, it's such a cool place. I've been backpacking for 3 months now. Got about 3 weeks left, flat broke. Have been to Singapore, Indonesia, Thailand, Laos, Cambodia and Vietnam. Been the trip of a lifetime and really ignited the travel bug in me. I meant to be in the UK this year, but it will definitely happen sometime over the next few years. Probably within 18 months. I'll keep you posted. How's things at your end? Hope you're well! What are you doing these days? Apart from the all encompassing trials of mothering... Hope the kids and your hubby are well. And turbo, too. |
