I'm torn with this whole thing with Joe being X-Division and Tag Champs, while Angle is The world champ and Japan champ. One thing I think it's a unique idea, but another part of me tells me why can't they just do it like they had it. I mean. Jay Lethal was an awesome X-Division champ, he could have done well. Then Joe could have challenged Angle for the two titles at HJ. The Dudley's could have challenged Styles and Cage.
But ah well.
I also agree, I'm interested in seeing if this comeback of Vince's is going to help at all with the show. They need to revive things, because they're seriously hurtin.

I was led to believe that the winner of the tag team titles could choose any member of the roster to be their partner to defend the titles with. I've seen no indication of this either by Joe showing any interest in having a partner or by Tenay or West even mentioning the fact. It's simply all been about Joe and Angle getting one over each other.
While it appears to be an interesting prospect having all the titles on the line in a single one-on-one match, in reality they are alienating the rest of the roster. And ultimately the fans.
TNA is better than it has been in recent months, but only marginally.

You're right MB, that I agree with. TNA has got to shape up. It is interesting to see this kind of title situation, it's unique I'll give it that much respect. But they need to give the other people a chance at the belts as well.

Joe or Angle can choose who their partner is and will probably do so after the PPV. Marginally better? While it isn't great right now it was terrible at the start of the year what with the never ending Rhino vs AJ and Team 3D vs LAX feuds in stupid matches like a 'Little Italy street fight'. Also who remembers the "fire Russo" chants during yet another abysmal Sting vs Abyss match? I am not saying that TNA is red hot at the moment, just much better than it was at the start of the year, although I read rumours that Matt Morgan might be coming to TNA which would suck and I heard an even more stupid rumour which is so bad it can't possibly be true, surely, that they might phase out the X-Division championship, which would probably kill the company.
Okay Morgan has signed for the company great...and this Pac-Man guy seems to be a right prick from what I've read...great again...
Like I said the last few months in TNA have been very enjoyable, but I do think the company is heading back into a slump, one perhaps they won't recover from.
